ABOUT US:
Kendall County Air is owned by Steve Driskill and his wife, Jimi, of Boerne, Texas. Our company was established in 1973 by Jimi’s parents, Gaylan and Cherry Schroeder. Over the past 39 years, we have become a leader in the air conditioning and heating repair and replacement industry.
We are a class “A” license holder, TACLA26171E, and our company and people are insured well beyond the minimum requirements of Texas law.
Owner Steve Driskill started with our company in 1995 and has done well to bring a small, successful business with 4 employees into the new century by establishing policies and procedures which have allowed us to attract top quality team members, growing to 21 members today to serve you.
In addition to creating a solid new platform to move our company forward, we have brought in new technology that has allowed our team to provide cutting edge service for our clientele. Everything about what we do revolves around providing you the best possible customer service while getting your cooling or heating system serviced, repaired, or replaced in the quickest manner possible, and making sure that it’s done right the first time.
Doing the job right the first time is not always easy. It takes continual training and planning to ensure that we have the right amount of people, resources, and vehicles in place to be there in a timely manner when you need us. Steve’s primary help in that effort lies with our General Manager, Brooxie Jones, who just celebrated her 11th year at KCA.
Even though planning, training, and managing is not always easy, we have received several awards that reassure us that what we are doing is working. For the past 20 years in a row we have received a “Best in Texas” award from RUUD Air Conditioning Manufacturing and Insco Distributing. We have been voted “Best of the Best” by the readers of the Boerne Star newspaper for the past 13 years in a row. We were one of the Top 10 RUUD Reliable Dealers in the United States for 4 years in a row, and in 2010 we received the “Top TRANE XL Dealer in Texas” award. Also in 2010, Steve Driskill received an award for “Businessman of the Year” from the Boerne Chamber of Commerce.
